consequences
The world as it should be is a reflection of God's will, and as always, he knows best. But the world as it should be must be achieved, and this requires cooperation not just among humans, but between humans and our surroundings. Every last atom of this planet is an equal partner with us in its preservation. Humans are capable of filling their place on this earth with great skill; however, we do not often do so. As a result, God is frequently angry with us, punishing us with torments because it's the only way he can see to bring us to our senses. "You have to live with the consequences of your acts," my mother always told me.
