| Another feature available for each individual entry is the user rating tool. This allows you to provide feedback about which images or pieces of writing you like best. The more people use this feature, the more helpful it will be to future visitors. |

| Ratings are from 0–10, including decimals if you like. You may only vote once a given item. If you have already voted, your previous vote will show up instead of the input box being blank. If you want to give the item a different score, simply type a new value and submit again. This will not be counted as a new vote. Rather, it will cancel your earlier vote and replace it with the latest value. |

| Your vote is anonymous. I have no way of knowing who you are, and don't want to. Your vote is added to all the other votes for that page, and an average rating is calculated. This average is then used to sort pages by user rating. In other words, voting on the pages you like or don't like gives you a way to influence how every other visitor will view the site.
