| Young Man petitions to see Corporate Boss, and presents him with a plan to save the company. Corporate Boss is hardly amused, and Young Man gets defensive. He is escorted gracefully from the office, but turns suddenly at the door to whip out his PoD, or Portfolio on Disk. He is clobbered from behind by the bodyguard, who thinks he has reached for a knife or a gun. "Nice move, Max, what's he got there?" says Corporate Boss. "I just wanted to give you my PoD," says Young Man from the floor. They meet again two weeks later. "Slick PoD," says Corporate Boss drinking rice milk. "Sorry about the rough-up, kid. Consider it your introduction to the corporate world."
