I collected thirteen interesting pebbles from the garden of the Château. They weren't just any pebbles, but the ones that I had chosen. Later I showed them to Jean-Michel and asked him how much I could buy with my pebbles. He counted them, saw there were thirteen and said, "For thirteen pebbles, you can get three pebbles and one large stone." I said, "What if I want to buy something else?" He said, "Well, a pigeon. For thirteen pebbles you can get one small pigeon." I thought for a while and told him, "I have a good idea. I'll collect pebbles from the Château and use them to buy pigeons. Then I'll bring them back to the Château until the garden is full of pigeons. Once I have enough pigeons, I'll use them to buy something else." Jean-Michel smiled and said, "With that many pigeons you can get a lot of pebbles, nothing more."
